Alumni Access to Handshake

If you are a Notre Dame alum and you want to access your Handshake account that you used while enrolled as a student, your primary email account in Handshake will need to be updated to a personal email address.

As you may recall, 60 days after graduation your NetID is deactivated.  Since access to Handshake is authenticated with NetID, you will no longer be able to access Handshake using your NetID or ND email.

Here are the steps to take care of this.

  1. Click the icon below to complete a brief form.
  2. Our staff will review your request.  If approved, we will initiate the change.  Please know that your request will typically take a 1-3 business days to complete.
  3. After we change your email, you will receive an email from Handshake with instructions on how to verify your new email.
