We extend many thanks to all of our alumni, benefactors, employers, and campus partners who have provided hundreds of ways for Notre Dame students to us during Winter Session.

Through your support, we were able to provide our ND students with amazing opportunities and support them in new and innovative ways. Thank you for helping us take advantage of Notre Dame's first extended Winter Session and make it productive for our students.

Hundreds of Opportunities to Benefit Thousands of Students

During the Winter Session, the Meruelo Family Center for Career Development:

  • Partnered with University Relations leaders, including the Notre Dame Alumni Association, to mobilize alumni, parents, and benefactors to create more than 400 short-term projects and experiences for students to develop their skills, network.
  • Collaborated with alumni, employers, faculty, and student leaders to create more than 120 virtual events to learn about various industries and career paths and network with professionals.
  • Led 21 small-group workshops specifically designed to help students begin the career development process through exploration of their values, interests, skills, and how their Notre Dame education can influence their career decisions.
  • Offered students students specialized training and support to prepare for virtual interviews.

In addition to these initiatives, our staff created more than 33 projects to provide 120 students the opportunity to evaluate how we serve our students and create new resources to support student career development.
